Ori-Charmy Jewellery Line

Brief

This project required developing a physical product range across four scaffolded stages—from initial pitches through to a finished, branded, and promoted outcome. The brief called for three cohesive products unified by a consistent form or design, produced through up-cycling, repurposing, or recycled materials, with a full visual identity and promotion built around the final range. With Australia’s declining recycling rates and growing plastic waste in mind, the range was shaped around reducing material waste through up-cycled and/or locally sourced components.

Outcome

The result is a three-piece jewellery range—a bracelet, necklace, and keychain—unified by a resin-cast origami crane charm, handmade from scrap paper and locally sourced resin. Upcycled beads from old collections complete a Y2K-inspired aesthetic, balancing playful design with a focus on waste reduction. Product photography was styled with a soft pink textured backdrop and disco ball props to reinforce this fashion-forward tone, promoted through a dedicated Instagram account, ori.charmy, under the tagline “fashionably sustainable.”
